This medium roast balances sweetness of ripe plum, the richness of homemade jam, and a sparkly hint of cola. It delivers the complexity of a full-strength brew with the smooth, approachable finish of decaf—ideal for mornings or an afternoon pause.

Coffee Story

Sourced from the indigenous Nasa communities of Cauca, this coffee is grown with deep respect for the land and their traditions. Through their cooperative, CENCOIC, smallholder farmers unite to strengthen their bargaining power, ensuring fairer prices and sustainable practices. The decaf component is processed naturally with Ethyl Acetate (EA), a compound derived from fruits and vegetables, leaving behind the flavor while gently reducing caffeine.

    My family and I were in SF visiting from Newport Beach, CA and happened upon Red Bay Coffee Shop. The coffee was fantastic, and I brought home a bag of the Half Caff. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Zero notes of burnt coffee flavor or the sometimes strange flavors that can emerge with decaf coffee. The blend is very flavorful and I am lamenting that we do not live closer to the shop. Definitely going to make an online order soon! We loved our experience at Red Bay. The baristas were so friendly and were very engaging with my 8 year old son.
